From September 11–14, 2018, members, staff, volunteers and others will gather in Cambridge, Ontario, to attend the 42nd Annual Conference of Canada’s Accredited Zoos and Aquariums. Together, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from each other, share ideas, network and enjoy a few days working and socializing with friends and colleagues who share their passions, challenges and dreams.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Enhancing credibility through transparency.”

Accredited zoos and aquariums are far more than just “attractions.” At once, they are centres of conservation, science and education. For some species, their very survival depends on the work of these important institutions.

But does the public—including our critics, funders, governments anda new generation of visitors—understand this? How can we achieve transparency and then use it to help us get our message out?

Featuring a highly interactive format, break-out sessions, keynote speakers and a live field trip to African Lion Safari, CAZA Conference 2018 will explore these issues and more over four days this September in beautiful southern Ontario.

For more information please contact Amelie La Rose at (613) 627-3779, Ext. 223 or alarose@caza.ca.

We’ll see you there!
